Ride, Saturday November 15th

I took three pictures yesterday. Two of our group and one of the road into the heaquarters art the park. I'm trying to get them posted here or saved in our gallery am having problems.

That must have been just a beautiful ride, the weather could not have been better.

Yesterday, I finished my last meeting as secretary for our Yacht Club, so no more conflicts :-).

I really enjoyed the ride on Saturday; the conversation and coffee at Starbuck's in Saratoga; the twisty roads on the way to Big Basin State Park, and my chance to lead our fivesome (bikes that is) to the Red Restaurant at the Old Santa Cruz Hotel in Santa Cruz. My Garmin GPS came in handy. LOL Looking forward to other rides in the future.

I'm glad everyone had a safe and enjoyable ride (Rides to Santa Cruz have always been the highlight of my riding seasons). My ride to Manteca was o.k., but I'd rather been with you all.

The "Ride for Kids" Task Force meeting was very informative, and fyi all future meetings of the task force will take place in/around the Fairfield area. Because the event is evolving into the Northern California event and the venue has changed to the Solano Community College, the task force has dwindled, with past members leaving because of location issues. If you'd like to become a member of the task force and have a hand in moulding the new event, let me know!

If you'd like to gain free admission to the International Motorcycle Show on Saturday (12/20) or Sunday (12/21) in exchange for working at the "Ride for Kids" booth at the IMS, contact me. Louise and I are working the booth on 12/20 from Noon-4:00 p.m., but there are still plenty of slots open on both days.
