Late August ride or September ride

Should we reschedule the ride you were going to organize for September? I haven't been on a group ride in 2 months I think and I am getting the shakes. What does everyone think about doing the ride for September that we were going to do this month? Do you want to make a poll Scott for this ride in September or do you want me to put it in?

Sure, I'm willing to do it in September if that's what people want.

The only weekend I can't do it is the weekend of Sept 6th.

Sounds fine with me. Although I may not be able to attend as I got draftd by my Guard unit to help fight the fires.

Sept. ride sound great to me... I could not wait but, I will not be able to do on the weekend of 6th, and 13th.... I will be able to do on the weekend of the 20th of this month.

Yes, let's do it. The 6th is bad for me as well. Otherwise, just about any other Sat or Sun will work. My Burgman is still up in Modesto so at least I won't have to ride all the way from Salinas.

I've begun seeing clients on Saturday afternoons and also have Saturday morning workshop (Be your own therapist). So Sundays are my only option.

Then I'm getting a pair of new knees. First one on 10/29. So I'm still in for any shorter (2-4 hour) rides on Sundays until then. Hope to have both knees recovered to ride by March or April. My orthopaedic surgeon is a rider and I'm trying to convince him to go to Mexico with me (and others) for the April rally in Mazatlan. I chose him because I figure he'll understand my wanting to ride better than some non-rider. (He's also a good surgeon:D)

Also, anyone who wants to do short rides in Marin/Sonoma, like wine country or oyster farms or the cheese factory.
