Short Notice Ride to A&S BMW/Vespa this coming Saturday!

A couple of us are riding up to A&S for a scooter event this coming Saturday. For details, check out the info on the "Calendar"!

I'd go but.....

Installing my new grips last weekend ended up with me breaking the throttle sleeve on my Burgman. I can ride it, but I don't want to ride it any length of time or distance that way.

I called the local Suzi dealer yesterday and they said they'd have to order it.

I need some other OEM parts, so I'm ordering from Onieda Suzuki. They have great prices.

Tom, I'll miss you on the ride. So far, we have the following folks meeting at "Yellow Wood":

I plan on going

Bonnie, Gene and I just returned from the party at A&S in Roseville. The ride up was pretty boring but we were up there in about 1.25 hours. The music was good and loud (reminded me of the old days at a Harley event), the food decent and the folks friendly. We dropped a little cash on accessories, sat around and visited for a while (a friend of mine rode his MP3 400 down from Reno for the event), and we headed home.

The ride home was a little nicer but HOT as h#@%. We were able to cool off a little travelling on Hwy 160 through the towns of Locke, Walnut Grove, Isleton and Rio Vista. Then, it was back on the superslab and home sweet home.

Bonnie and Gene, it was great riding with you, today. I hope you both got home safe and sound!

PS: I talked to one of the folks at A&S, and learned that they had only one (1) scooter left for sale. They cleared out their entire inventor of 75 scooter, since January. Geoff, they had an Atlantic, identical to yours, priced at just under $6,000. I think scooters are in GREAT demand all over Northern California!

I was there to and not many scooters to be had as there usual.

Sorry I didn't go up with you but that would have been a lot of highway travel from Modesto. Hope to see you later this month.

Actually, when my wife and I bought our MP3's last year (almost to the day), they had 30 MP3 250's in stock. Because of all the scooters they had in stock, they gave my wife and I probably a better deal then you can imagine. At that time and as recently as February of this year, they had tons of scooters in stock. Now, just like everywhere else, they don't have anything new to sell, and the used scooters are fetching top dollar!
