First post to this site...

This is my first post to this new site. I was just getting used to the old site, and I thought, oh no, not a new one! But....I must admit within moments I was thinking this really is better, more organized, easier! Good job Jeff! I will be more than happy here once everyone has moved over and starts posting and uploading pictures. Thanks Jeff, I know it's a lot of work.....Larry[b]

My name is Larry. Just bought a Kymco Xciting 250 scoot in March, found this place (well, BAMR AND CVMR) and feel like I have a home here and definitely new friends. All of these riders are great, nice people and very helpful...like a big family, right? I used to ride a little-years ago...a Yamaha 150 then later a Honda 450 (I think) like I said, it's been awhile. Now that I have found scooters (maxi scoots) I am in heaven 24/7. My car now collects dust in the garage. Can't wait 'till 2moro so I can ride again! F r e e d o mmmmmmm!!!!

Sorry I missed you guys on Sunday. Looks like you and Scott had a nice trip, and no rain! I'm sure we'll be meeting up this summer for some good rides. I'm only 20 minutes away.

Welcome to this site Larry and I'm glad you like it so far. Hopefully the other members will start to migrate to this site so we can use this exclusively. It will be nice to meet you on some of the upcoming rides and glad you like the group. I like the monthly rides too, just getting out and riding, and of course meeting new people and getting to know the other members better.

Welcome to our group! Join us at the "Ride for Kids" on June 29th at the Pleasanton Middle School, 5001 Case St, Pleasanton, CA. Registration is from 8:00-9:45 a.m. The police escorted ride begins at 10:00 a.m. Registration is $35.
