Hello from the North Bay

Hi,

I'm Sam, from Marin & Sonoma. Although I've been a member of the BAMR boards since February, I haven't been on a ride with you all yet, but hope to soon. I believe that being female I'm in the minority here? Although I rode motorcycles when I was a kid, I'm really enjoying my Yamaha Majesty 400 now. It's more than enough bike for me.

Next month we have a couple of fun rides planned for Isleton ( Crawdads ) on the 14th and John's Ride for Kids on the 29th.

Welcome Sam and we have 2 other women that ride monthly and another couple of women that show up once in awhile. My wife is starting to come on the monthly rides too. I'm glad we could get you activated and hope you will become a regular poster here. Please feel free to place a photo of you and your scoot in our gallery section.

I find that the BAMR rides usually start way too far away from me (I live in southern Sonoma County) and/or too early in the morning, and they're always on Saturdays, which is often a work day for me. I like the Sonoma County Scooterists ride schedule better; they usually meet at 10am on Sundays in Santa Rosa. --But I feel like Gulliver in the land of Lilliputians with them on their Vespas & me on my Majesty. :-)

I really like the look of your Yamaha :>) it was on my short list. I ended up with a Silver wing for the bigger cc's.
