Should we consider connecting more directly with BUSA?
Connect to BUSA? What do you think?
I just saw this on the BurgmanUSA.com forum., http://burgmanusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=33645. It looks like an interesting offer that may allow us to connect with a wider range of the scooting community, but we would need at least 3 people to help run it.

Scott,
I think it is a good idea. I read the link and it seems we would certainly qualify due to the size of our group.
Thanks,

Scott and Jeff, I think it is a great idea. So many people access BurgmanUSA.

OK, so if we want to do this, who else would want to be listed as moderators? I'll take the lead, but we need two others also.
Re: Connect to BUSA? What do you think?
I'm not really opposed, but it seems a lot of extra work and I'm not sure that there are many benefits. BAMR has already expanded way beyond the original idea.
I love all the members who come from anywhere, but as the group gets a wider geographical area, it becomes more diffuse. Just for fun, I worked out the possibility of the Hwy 26 loop ride. For those of us in Marin/Sonoma, it would take 6 hours of non-stop riding to do this ride, without any stops. That makes it difficult or impossible for some of us. (I'm not complaining, especially for this ride, as I was already committed for this date. In fact this summer has been difficult for finding riding time.) For me, 2-3 hour rides are more possible--maybe even four occasionally.
So I'm not sure what we gain from even more expansion. And if it takes at least three liaison people, that's a lot.
If the majority want to do this, I'll certainly go along and hope it buys us something.
Just my opinion. FWIW
