Insurance Empty Insurance

First, my thanks to JeffR, Mike and Capt John for their help in locating a Burgy 400. Have run the DMV gauntlet and need some recommendations on insurance. Any particular companies that stand out? Have heard about Progressive, Geico and AIG? Also have seen an AARP program through Hartford? Any help would be greatly appreciated... Greg

Greg,

I've been riding about 1 1/2 years. When I started, I started with Progressive as they were willing to insure a newby rider. After 6 months, I switched to Geico and got the same coverages at 1/2 the price. I'm still with Geico.

My wife, a newbie rider, and myself received excellent coverage and premiums from GMAC Insurance via my membership in the GoodSam Club.
