June 22nd ride with David up to Redding (or most of the way)

June 22nd ride up towards Redding. Meet at the Denny;s at Hwy 29 and Hwy 37 at 10am. This is a ride that David is going on to go to Redding to have his seat repaired at Russell Long Saddle (?). So far, Sam and I, will be riding with David most of the way. It would be too far of a ride for me to do in one day since I"m in Fremont. I will post the map here tonight. Hope others can go since it will be a nice ride.

I'm planning to be at the Denny's at the juncture of H29 and H37 in Vallejo at about 9:00am to have breakfast before we depart up H29. A friend thinks he will come and might not get to Denny's until 10:15 so I'll plan on delaying until 10:30, if he is able to come, or if anyone else tells me ahead of time. I'm not sure how many folk are coming so I don't know how many maps to print.

The route will be up H29 to H53 to H20 to Williams. That route goes through Yountville, Calistoga, Middleton, Lower Lake and Clearlake. After this the rest of you will return in whatever way you wish, but the original idea was to go south on I5 to I505 to I80, etc. Meanwhile I'll head north on I5 to Shasta Lake city. (Which is just the north end of Redding.)

If anyone want to go all the way, that's fine too. I'm coming back on Monday afternoon as soon as they get finished adjusting my saddle. Let me know so we can reserve additional room at the motel.
