Anyone that can help,
Hi I'm new to the scooter stuff. Here is my problem.
First I disconnected the batt then I installed the leo vince muff on my an400 2007 ( following leo vince instructions )but instead of putting in the plug I just unplugged the o2 sensor at the upper end. So it does just the same thing as having a plug in there. But now the scooter runs worse. It didn't seem right to disconnect the 02 sensor but I followed instruction from leo vince. Has anyone of you had this problem? If so how was it fixed?
I sure could use help at least when I take it back to the dealer that I have great faith in.
I was told the reason the an400 2007 would die at low rpm was because the o2 sensor would lean the fuel so much that it could not keep running at low rpm. I couldn't even take the dmv driving test because it would always die going through the cones.
thanks for any help you can be
Lloyd
Ps. next time you all are riding in Marin let me know.

Re: leo vince plug
Lloyd,
Welcome to the site. Hopefully we have someone here who might know the answer to your question. Also, we have monthly rides and hope you can join them. We also have a few people in your area too . Does anyone here who rides a B400 or have a Leo Vince know what is wrong?

Hi Lloyd,
Sorry to hear about your mechanical problem. Sorry I can't offer a solution, but have you posted this question on the BurgmanUSA site (http://burgmanusa.com/forums/index.php)? Someone on there is bound to offer you some advice as to what's wrong. Hope it works out.

Re: leo vince plug
Try reconnecting the Oxygen sensor and see how it runs. I'll bet the "black box" can not compute the proper air/fuel mixture without that sensor in line. Give it a try.

Re: leo vince plug
I don't understand about th O2 sensor. Was it inline with the original exhaust?
Does the leo vince exhaust has a hole for you to put the O2 inline?
If not you will have to drill a hole on the Leo Vince so the original O2 sensor is used or it will never run good.
On the Silverwing I think after 2006 they put an O2 sensor in line, to mount an aftermarket exhaust one has to drill a hole to mount the O2 sensor otherwise it runs pretty bad. Hope this helps. Or I didn't understand your post.
