Our own Jeff lives just North of you in Fremont, and Gene, who's currently in Hawaii on vacation, lives in Milpitas, too, I believe. I live in Walnut Creek, which is only 30 minutes North of you.

Hi Christina,
Welcome to the group. There are several of us that are new and we are all looking to explore the area. If you are interested in the East Bay area there are some great rides up through the Berkeley Hills from Lake Chabot that overlook the entire bay and downtown SF. There also is a great ride out in the Livermore area on Mines Road. Also the ride up Mt Diablo out in Walnut Creek is a challenge but has great views from the top. Will keep you posted on any plans that come up and don't be afraid to post your own ride. It is a great group and you will enjoy the experience. Greg
